people lie. just because they stick a garb on thier heads, and say 'mashallah' after every sentence you actually believe it? its called putting on a show for the sake of 'izzat' or the community and nothing more.
in fact i bet half of hijabis you see out there - are forced to wear it by thier mean old daddy's who beat them with thier belts.

I want to know what percent of Muslim fathers are raising kids who aren't theirs. Because all of these other figures and studies doesn't really apply to the Muslim community, and honestly, its the only one that should matter.
And again, if you don't trust your spouse, don't have kids

since when does being a Muslim all of a sudden make one automatically moral? plenty of wives cheat on thier husband's in pakistan for example, when thier hubbys are away at work.
in fact, during the mughal period, and virtually every islamic empire, euniks who would gaurd the palace harem, were castrazised! even the bloody emperor didnt trust his wives LOL.
and there are many reasons why women do cheat on thier hubbys, and alot of it is psychological, after all were talking about a gender that is pumped full of estrogen, and all those emotion running wild in them. so you can throw the morality thing out the window.
i mean when her lovers semen get's mixed in with her husband's semen, only the dominate semen then gets to impregenante her, so basically know one knows who the biological father is.

Never said it automatically makes you moral. All I said is I wanted to see the studies and numbers for the Muslim community. I'd say it would be lower for the Muslims.

of course it would, probably close to zero, you think anybody is going to admit to something like that? im not a statician, so im not sure how they could get people to agree to blood or dna samples and then make comparisions in that manner, so i doubt a study like that could ever be done.

envision the scenario;
dad: is there any possible way that this isn't my son?
doc: sir, he's yours.
dad: please? pretty please? how about if I pass you a little something under the table?
doc: i'm sorry, sir.
mom: what about me? is there any way he's not mine? like, can I get a maternity test? please?
doc: I'm sorry, but you simply must take this baby home now. He. Is. YOURS.

Re: paternity tests
Seriously dude, there's no excuse for you getting your ho-bag girlfriend pregnant.
If you're THAT concerned about paternity, why aren't you using contraception?
If she's your wife, and you have no reason to suspect that she has affairs, and STILL require a paternity test to prove that baby is yours, I hope she leaves your sorry a$$, AND sues you for horendoud amounts of maintenance.

Re: paternity tests
I think he's more concerned about making sure the child is his.
I don't think he's against having children per se.
Also, trojans? Weren't trojans the ones who sneaked in the city through deception. Seems kind of a strange name for a contraceptive device, no?

Not if you think of sperms as little trojan wariors, sneaking into gaurded places....
My point is you shouldn't have unprotected sex with anyone you can't trust.

Well, you'd think your woman would be someone you can trust, but if in doubt, Maury'll sort it out. That's what my grand mama always used to say.

Yeah, but the people on Maury are not married. It's all about "he was ma boyfriend" or it's shotgun weddings, only to find out the kid isn't his anyway. That situation hardly applies to a normal wedding does it? 'Sides most of the time the girl is right, and the paternity test comes out positive, but the guy STILL tries to get out paying his fair share. I've watched those shows too (oddly enough only at Desi peoples houses...)
Yeah, if you're gunna get a girl knocked up, and then marry her, you gotta think that if she'll do the nasty with you before marriage, she'll do it with anyone. If she makes you wait until marriage, dude, she's not gunna get knocked up with just anyone. There's your insurance right there. Besides that, it's gunna be pretty obvious the kid isn't yours if suddenly she looks 6 months pregnant, and you've only been married for 3, and never had sex before marriage.
Asking your wife, who you've been married to for a while, to prove that the kid she just had really is yours is incredibly low. Even white trash trailor park jahil rednecks don't do crap like that.

Is it just me or isn't it terribly tragic that a little girl out there looks like a mini version of Got 5?
But I digress, why not just put your wife in a chastity belt and tie her up to the bed when you leave for work? That'll solve all of your problems.

LOOOOOL i just love how all the fellas you seem to be talking to disagree with u and u still try
also u need the mothers signature and permission in order to have a paternity test before you sign the birth certificate.
and lastly.......................
if u find out the child isnt urs (whether before or after test), great divorce your wife,
but just noe that when you do the test (and find out if the child is yours), your wife will divorce you anyway for not trusting and humialiting her...
so either way, its a lose lose situation.
