Try getting him some toys. And locking him in the bathroom is very cruel. Let him out or like ayooshi said, put him in a bedroom or something.

I don't get what's cruel about it as long as the cat has food/water/litterbox/toys. Even if it's going to be in there for an hour you should at least put some water in there and a toy or two to let the cat keep himself amused. When I first got my cat she used to beg for food whenever I was eating and once she jumped up onto my plate, into my food . I gave her a kitty-bath and locked her in the bathroom for 15 minutes while I finished eating. I don't know if she meows or not because she's not a very vocal kitty and when she does "talk" her meows are very quiet. Also, when I visit my parents' house and I have to go out somewhere for more than an hour I put 1 or 2 of her toys and her food/water bowl in the bathroom (her litterbox is already there) and close the door. She usually climbs into the dirty clothes hamper and goes to sleep . I have to do this to prevent my dad from being mean to her or "accidentally" letting her out of the house (he hates cats).
edit: once when I was at my parents' house the cat somehow managed to get on top of my sister's bird's cage and had her paws reaching in there, scaring the life out of the bird who was screaming and squawking (cats have been known to literally give pet birds a heart attack). I stuck her in the bathroom, intending only to leave her in there until I put the birdcage in another room but I forgot about her and she ended up being there for more than an hour. She had water though. Stuff happens, just be very careful and don't make it a habit

Re: Cat Talk
In addition to the above, make sure the toilet lid is closed

Re: Cat Talk
Probably best to take the cat to the vet
My next door neighbours cat, Karl always comes to say hello, although i'm sure it's because he finds my bed comfortable because he always ends up falling asleep in it. The other day he wanted to go home and was sitting by the open door, waiting for the rain to stop. So i picked him up, shuvved him under my coat and took him next door. Cats are such wimps.

Re: Cat Talk
Asalamu Alaikum,
Okay, My kitty disappeared, Its been about a week now, and he's home every night. What could possibly have happened to him?
And he's a baby too, only a year old, I hope theres a chance that he's still alive.

Re: Cat Talk
Is he neutered? Neutering them and spaying them helps tame the roaming instinct in them and prevents them from finding certain "things to do" while they're out which is what he could be up to.. if he's not neutered, that is.
