Im allergic to cats, and they are so selfish and cold for me. My friend has a dog that is half chiuaha (sp) and half weiner dog, its the BEST! Her name is josie and she is quite a character! she looked like this as a puppy:

fatima Your cat is the most adorable kitty I have EVER seen. She wins Kitty of the Year in my book. MashaAllah sooooooooooooooo cuute...I was showing my parents right now. Awwww

Anyhoo, I was having lunch outside and my kitty (will post pics later) was going crazy for my sandwich, I dropped him a piece (its was PB n J) and I thought he'd just sniff it and stalk off...He ate the WHOLE chunk and was meowing for more.

Later on, my sister dropped a dorito while she was playing, and he ate that too! Is he going to get sick, im really worried....hes such a fattie.

Simbi is a she.. that was her first collar, before I got her all the sequinned/pinky ones

When we first bought her we were tricked by the petshop guy into thinkin he was a boy, so we called him Simba... a coupla weeks later when the vet said she is a girl we were so used to callin her Simba we jus tried to feminise the name so it at least sounded a bit more girly

She has become a big fatty so I trimmed her tummy hairs yday to make her look thinner.. but her thunder thighs still give it away..

YouTube - bird obsessed with cat

In August when I move into my new apartment inshallah I will be taking my sister's cockatiel Mowi with me. Inshallah I'll be getting a cat soon and I was really worried about the cat and bird together for obvious reasons. Alhamdulillah I've researched this a lot and today I called the place where we got Mowi from. It looks like with a little work it's totally possible inshallah! If not, there's always a spare bedroom that can be reserved for Mowi only

Oh and for anyone interested in toilet training their cat to use a human toilet, search youtube. They've got some good videos

That video is soooooooooooooo funny! Especially towards the end when the cat gets fed up and leaves. And the bird goes looking for it. AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!

Yeah, that's the funny thing.. when I got her at 8 weeks along with her brother Smokey, we were told she was a boy too and I did check but at that age, erm, that area wasn't big enuff to notice it's absence/presence properly compared to her brother Smokey.. not sure if that made sense.

She is a lot chubbier now but it's probly coz she is an indoor cat and doesn't get a chance to burn off her tubbiness.. but I love her to bits.. she was rubbing her nose against my laptop for the past 10mins, not lettin me come online

In other news, Madonna is gettin divorced. Oh dear.

Annie: I dont normally care about celebrities and their lives but that news about madonna is very sad.

So my sister calls me last night and goes "guess what! I got a job! Now I can get you a cat for your birthday!"

I feel kinda bad though. I should just go buy it myself instead of waiting for my poor newly-employed baby sister to get it for me. Oh the dilemmas in life!!
