I miss my mummy and papa

Alhumdulillah they are ok and all...but my dad's job is stupid and like every weekend my parents go out of state or arent home

during the week, there is work and school, so i barely get to hang with them.

but still, Alhumdulillah, they are ok. recently, i was talking to a friend and he was telling me about how one of his friend's father passed away. Besides that, i know a lot of other people who lost there parents...

so this thread is dedicated to them awesome parents out there...and duas and shout outs to them all!

may Allah keep all of our parents in the best of strength and imaan, and if they arent with us, may they be having awesome moments in Jannah and doing all the fun things they werent able to do because they were taking care of us, trying to put us on the right path and making us feel better about the little scratches we got while we were playing in the park..

My parents call me every day worrying about me even if we only talk for 5 minutes its nice to know that they worry =)
Alhamdulillah since I moved away I've really started appreciating everything that they do for me. Its hard to cook for yourself. =(

Nice thread! I love my parents to bits and past few years I have put them through thick and thin and they have stuck by me on every occasion. Allah bless them, ameen!

Yeah, I really do miss my mom. But it is amazing how distance can make the heart grow fonder as well... slowly I am sharing more and more of my life with her and amazingly (well, perhaps to my amazement) she understands. Like truly understands... I know parents that would freak out about the things I have recently opened up to my mother about, things and subjects I have always kept away from her... and she embraces me instead of shuns me--even trusts me!
