Re: Jewish Talmud school rejects child with "stained genealogy"
What a joke! How can Ashkenazic Jews deny Sephardis of their religion, simply because of their ethnicity? The Sephardic Jews predate the Ashkenazis. Ashkenazic Jews didn't exist until centuries after the Talmud, as we know it, became a reality. The Talmud itself was composed of the discussions of Rabbis pertaining to a wide variety of Jewish affairs; the Rabbis in question, unsurprisingly, were all Mizrahi (traditional Jews who are directly related to the formerly displaced Sephardi Jews).
Not surprising, though, when you think about it. Israelis often call non-Ashkenazic Jews "nig****", and do not consider them to be proper followers.
