My family had separate plates and cups for English who came over..

Lol, thanks for the well wishes, man, but my family didn't move from India. Fortunately they were on the right side of the border come partition time. But there were many Hindus that lived in what is now Pakistan, before they left after Partition, and my story was in reference to them.

ya but many Muslims also paid the price for that ethnic cleansing as well during partition riots in other parts of India, such as Delhi and Lucknow. IT was a tragic time we shouldnt be cheering ethnic cleansing of anyone.

Well, too bad for them we don't go by caste. According to our Qur'an, which has more value than what they think, we are the best of nations.

For us, idolaters are the lowest "caste".

But my grandma says the Sikhs and the Muslims in our village used to get along.
Never heard of all this crazy Hindu hate for Muslims before. We're the lowest caste?

I'm sure it exists though, but many Muslims buy into this caste nonsense too. They see other Muslims as somehow inferior to them, 'cause of lineage and whatnot. So yeah, there are south-Asian Muslims who have separate plates/cups for Hindus/Sikhs/Black Muslims too.

Many Muslims of South-Asian heritage are racist against "hubshis" though (Black people). Even the Muslim kind. Not to that extent, but it's still there.

well there were alot more riots going on long before partition and even after partition, alot of Hindus who fled pakistan to indian punjab or delhi still resent Muslims for what happend to them 60 years ago. The same goes for bengali hindus from Bangladesh (formerly east pakistan) now living in Calcutta.
