I'm not just talking about foreign policy.
I don't see Obama doing anything to improve the whole Muslim civil liberties situation right here in the US, lest he be accused of being a Muslim himself (for instance, he has voted in favor of renewing the PATRIOT act). I'm not particularly impressed by his left-wing voting record as a state senator...supporting tax hikes, partial birth abortion (I'm pro-choice, but not that pro-choice), etc. Nor am I particularly impressed with his healthcare policy. And as far as Iraq is concerned, I don't believe that the US should withdraw based on a set timetable...after basically destroying an entire nation and condemning it to civil war, I don't think its right for the US to just withdraw...all that'll accomplish is to create another Afghanistan.
But what I find most concerning about Obama is that he has very few concrete ideas/positions...his entire campaign seems to be based on the premise that he stands for "change" and will have a "fresh outlook"...but I really don't think there's much substance (or experience) behind all the hype.
