I wrote in my canvas about the Second Muslim who will be joining Congress. Wow, 2 Muslims in Congress, and a possible future President named Barack Hussein Obama (yes i know he's Christian). Only in America.

What do you guys think about this? Is Islam finally rising in the West? I call it Generation Malcolm X.

probably his INTRApersonal life he is muslim.

while his INTERpersonal political life, he must remain just and secular to provide leadership to all types of people.

Most of us would be like that given a seat in the congress, in this situation. How else would you describe someone like that?

I don't think it's necessarily an oxymoron. I interpret that to mean that he practices, yet isn't going to try and turn the US into a Muslim country since we have the principles of separation of church and state here. He has to work within the framework that exists.

Yeah i agree with PHD, many in the spotlight Muslims do identify as Secular, however this isn't to say they don't practice. They embrace the US political ideals yet are Muslim..i mean it does sound liek an oxymoron but I can understand what they mean.
