Human Rights Commission raids Dargah in Hyderabad

Hyderabad, August 09: Andhra Pradesh State Human Rights Commission (APHRC) officials, along with police, on Tuesday raided a Dargah under Langar house police limits in the city.

Police said the team raided the Dargah based on a complaint that some mentally retarded people were fettered in the Dargah.

However, nobody was found in the Dargah premises.The team would submit a report on the conditions in the Dargah to SHRC chairman Mr Justice Subhashan Reddy, they said.
