At first we stood around discussing if we should do it or not and one of the dudes (a convert) looked kinda nervous...and I was kinda scared myself for a few seconds but then we were just like screw it, gotta do what you gotta do

We do that at Canada's Wonderland all the time ... there's this one grassy hill which has rides and vendors all around it, and we just climb up there and pray there whenever we're at Wonderland. 360 degrees of exposure.

WBIR.com | Knoxville, TN | Baby named Sarah McCain Palin

A new father has secretly named his baby girl Sarah McCain Palin after the Republican ticket for president and vice president.

Mark Ciptak of Elizabethton put that name on the documents for the girl's birth certificate, ignoring the name Ava Grace, which he and his wife had picked earlier.

"I don't think she believes me yet," he told the Kingsport Times-News for a story to be published Tuesday. "It's going to take some more convincing."

Ciptak, a blood bank employee for the American Red Cross, said he named his third child after John McCain and Sarah Palin to "to get the word out" about the campaign.

"I took one for the cause," he said. "I can't give a lot of financial support for the (McCain/Palin) campaign. I do have a sign up in my yard, but I can do very little."

Uh, took one for the cause?

LOL.

hah... yea that amused me... i think she came off strong enough in the rest of it and made up for it.

or maybe she was pointing out that he is american and the other labels don't matter?

Post Re: Official Election 2008 thread

I am pretty sure that i will be voting for Nader this year if only as a form of protest against our corporate state. Obama, all the "most liberal record" BS notwithstanding, just tows the Democratic Party Line. I just cannot support that. can't do it. And I am sure as heckfire not going to throw my support to another Republican administration, all the "maverick" nonsense aside.

I am about 80% sure that i will vote Nader. I invite any and all Obama supporters to give me one reason why i should not protest the status quo by voting for the one candidate whose stances on the issues i find myself in nearly complete agreement with, Ralph Nader.

Obama's stance on health care and education is corporatist. He is against a single payer system.

Obama's stance on forign policy issues is corporatist. He is in the pocket of the zionist lobby and favors military escalation in Afghanistan.

I really could go on with the reasons i disagree with Obama's platform but i won't unless pressed to do so.

since Nader is not going to win, I feel like my one less vote for Obama is one more for McCain.
