pakistan already has sharia! its just not the nutcase lunatic fanatical taliban style that has nothing to do with Islam. just because you believe it in it, doesnt mean it has to be imposed on the rest of us.

you can't impose sharia you stupid nutcase. In pakistan most people dont wan't taliban style sharia which these terrorists are trying to impose. People who impose and force things on other are very evil people.
Like i have said many times, i dont like Mushraff at all but he is a thousand times better then these jihadi talibans who are trying to bring the country in to the dark ages. i fully support and i hope most sane pakistanis support fight against these terrorists. I seriously wish that there is an all out war against them to finish them all.

stop being ignorant. The mass killings were not done on purpose, Lal Masjid was a big disaster but it was provoked by the terrorists. The Talibans do these evil acts on purpose thats the difference. I am not saying you have to support Mushraff but if you support the talibans then there is seriously something wrong with you.

stop being ignorant.
taliban can say the same things, "we did not do those whatever killings on purpose, we were put up to these by the evil government", the argument can go both ways.
i'm not saying that you should support the taliban, but if you support musharraf then there's something wrong with you.

Re: Pakistan's Musharraf declares emergency
^ there are indeed innocent people killed fighting these terrorists no doubt, but what other option is there? These terrorists are trying to take over the country and impose thier rules on the people just like they did in afghanistan. If you have a better idea of fighting them, why dont you share with us?

well you bring up an interesting point. for years jamaat islami could not win more than 3 seats in the national parliament, despite the fact that they can call up 100,000 (1 lakh for you desi fobs lol) onto the streets for protests. What happened in lal masjid, was pretty much no different than what happend to bill clinton and waco. perhaps it should have been handled in a better way, without using lethal force. such as flushing them out of the lal masjid with gas canisters. of course im monday morning qauterbacking here, i wasnt there, i wasnt in charge of operations, i dont know exactly to the extent that the army was concerned about, given the fact that the fanatics holed up in the lal masjid were armed to the teeth. and the lal masjid has been re-opened already. i ask, why did the lal masjid feel the need to be armed to the teeth?
and dubai is right. just because you believe in wahabi/taliban-style rule, doesnt mean the rest of the population in pakistan wants it. invoking the name of god isnt an execuse, because not everyone is a wahabi.
