Few Police officers targetting Muslim youths: Minority Commission

Hyderabad, October 11: A few police officers keeping the Muslims youths as their targets have been resorting to physical torture and this will have serious ramifications and youths might derail from mainstream.

There is a need to take necessary action on those police officers that are acting in an irresponsible way and with out any evidence in Lumbini Park and Gokul chat bhandar blast cases there have been a few arrests also physical torture! These are the suggestive excerpts of the State Minority Commission. Further the commission has confirmed the Government about the physical torture on Muslim youths.

It has come to know that the State Minority Commission has warned that the action of a few police officers in the investigation of the blasts might have serious ramifications in future. The commission has also confirmed that the Police have been resorting to the unfair means and also violating the laid norms and there has been discrimination on the basis of religion. (Contd.....
