Again you're saying irrelevant things that don't make sense. The ban is there REGARDLESS of the Saudi women who prefer to drive in Saudi Arabia, and there are these women there who want to drive just like in the West, which the user 'Musashi' attested to in her post above (she lives in Saudi Arabia). She agrees that many Saudis disagree with the ban on women driving, but the ban is not in their control because it's only THOSE SUNNI MEN WHO MAKE THE LAWS in Saudi Arabia, it's these men who have the Hadith-mentality, the Sunni mentality, the anti-women mentality, which leads to things like this ban on women driving. Their Sunni religion (and yours) teaches this attitude to shun women from society, so they feel they have religious justification for the ban. What kinda logic are you two using? Just because the majority of the population in Saudi is sunni, sunni islam is to blame? What about the rest of the sunni world, the neighboring gulf countries? All of them allow women to drive.

FYI, I lived in saudi for a good 17 years of my life. Saudi women in general are more educated than saudi men, more enthusiastic to work and contribute to the society than the males of that country. They just need more time to allow women to drive thats all! The society there is just not ready yet, thats their excuse so far.

If sunni islam was so evil and women bashing, why are there so many sunni muslim women like myself? I guess we are all a bunch of brainwashed, uneducated, zombies catering to the needs of the mighty sunni man.
