Does anyone know the translation of what hes saying?
Please note: that I neither endorse nor denounce the sufi tariqa depicted in this video.

Re: skamed's video picks
Dodgy in all respects.
Firstly with those women singing, but even worse, what's this "He is Muhammed, the Lord of both the worlds"???
A'oothoobillah.

Re: skamed's video picks
I doubt it. If you look at the first video, the guy is definitely saying that, PLUS they have the written commentary.
It's just a shoddy video in all aspects.
I'm not going to touch upon the whole female singers thing as it'd be very hypocritical of me, but I'm not about to endorse females singing Nasheeds. It's just wrong on so many levels.

There's certain groups who believe that Muhammad (saw) was not just a man, but also made of nur, the light that angels are made from, and that Allah would not have brought the world into existence had it not been for the creation of Muhammad (saw), and so on.

Re: skamed's video picks
very cool video picks, skamed my dizzle. nice to see you branching out with the tastes lately.
as i'm sure you've realized, if nasheed toots your whistle, qawali will rock your socks, check out some of this. sabri brothers, my favorites:
YouTube - Saqia Aur Pila (FULL) Sabri Bros
oh and in those translations they're obviously refering to the prophet as a "lord" in the worldly sense. as a lord of a domain or a royal lord over land or people, like a king, a king of the worlds, not by virtue of worldly title, wealth or nepotism, but by virtue of being the pinacle of humanity and an example unto fellow people for all time, and also the pinacle of creation, salalahhualai, since humanity is the crown jewel of nature and he was the beauty that set the standard for such things. alhamdulillah.
a similar linguistic usage could be found in the bible or christian writings where angels or demons are referred to as "gods" or "powers" or "dieties" or "spirits" at times, when clearly the terms simply mean "supernatural beings," and not actual gods. language is figurative, particularly when dealing with religious writings.
