Re: Do I exist?
Interesting question. Well, the answer merely depends on your philosophy. If you are an existentionalist, then you do exist; but you dont trust anything out there. Certain events in your life have led you to believe that the world out there isnt trustable. You have realized that if you need an answer to something, you should look within yourself to find it.
If you are a nihilist then you think nothing is true; nothing exist. There is no reason to live. Usually nihilist commit suicide. The ones that continue to live and dont end there life are the ones who think that if they can have fun in life why not have fun, even if it means that that fin means nothing.
Now, if you are a transcendentalist then you think that you do exist, but through this unnatural force that is keeping this world running. Without that force, nothing would exist. Its that force that is you and everyone else in the world. To find answers to your questions, you look towards that force, usually finding it in nature.
A naturalist is similar to a transendentalist, however, they dont really believe in the "force" more than they do in nature to find their answers.
So, yes. The answer to your question is truly up to you.
My teacher will be proud.
