I can relate to Suhaib, I was in a bad place before converting and hopefully i'd like to think i've bettered myself. The same can be said of him..

As for the more Western Scholars thing.. get yo butt into a training program and rock the masses...

I know when he was in our community, he didn't have a house, he basically lived with his family (wife and kids) in a room in another family's home. And as far as I know, it's not like he had health benefits or anything. He always seemed like a really simple guy.

I can understand if he just travelled around capitalized on his speaking ability, but he alos goes and seeks knowledge, which is hard work.
