Does anyone know if Shaykh Yassir Qadhi will come to ISNA this year?

I remember one time at TDC, I think it was his last lecture of the conference and everybody and their mama showed up.
We had to move the lecture 3 times before we ended up in the prayer area that looked like an airplane hangar.

ill ask him if he his, but i doubt it. yale and ramadan start up after labor day weekend so he probably wants to mentally prepare for both and spend time with his family. but then again, last year he was invited to speak from MSA and not ISNA, so he may be on the MSA program. again, ill ask when i see him.

you have convinced me. actually, isna was one of the primary reasons in me becoming "religious." i cant not go to something that changed my life. so for me, it isnt "not good." btw, your role model sh. yasir qadhi wouldnt tell people to not go.

"Religious" huh. Well MashaAllah brother. Thats good to hear that atleast one person came out with something from the fitnah filled place. I suppose there is some good there, but over all it is a waste of time. To those who are seeking more ilm than just a 20,000 people bazaar and a few here and there motivational lecture, ISNA wouldn't be the ideal place. However, if one is new or rather starting to practice, I suppose ISNA could be a good hopping base. But akhi, I tell you, after you increase in your emaan and knowledge InshaAllah. You will come to realize this on your own InshaAllah.
