Hi everyone, I have heard lots of stories about people and their dreams….some say it scares them….some laugh at it….some see something good coming……I have never experienced such dreams…..I would like to know that does a dream mean really anything……does it hold a special meaning…or its just that people build something up!!!!

Some dreams definitely do. I, like many people, have had dreams that I can remember vividly and can remember them happening. I've even averted police tickets by recalling my dreams before
![]() One could even go as far as to say that potentially all dreams have meanings, but we can't comprehend some of them. |

Abu Hazim replied, "Because you have built and established this world and you have destroyed your Aakhirah, so you hate to go from what you have established to what you have destroyed." |

I've been having this freaky dream where KitKat runs to me and then drops DEAD. I now avoid going to sleep. I haven't had an awful nightmare since. But i'm still traumatized about my KitKat.

I had a dream I had lunch with Hilary Clinton's assistant Huma Abedin. Clear sign of political junkie news overload.

Asalaamualaikum,
Yeah a lot of times they do and a lot of times they dont. Depends on the person dreaming it. Dreams are of three types, those that are good, those that are bad, and those that dont matter. Dreams that can be considered good will either happen as you see them or they have to be interpreted. Dreams that are considered bad, such as those that make you feel horrible, should be forgotten as thinking about them will only make you feel worse. Lastly there are dreams that have no significance, such as you see in your dream the things you were doing or preoccupied with during that day. Dreams depend on the person, where he or she lives, and time. Generally speaking those that are truer in their speech have truer dreams. Asalaamualaikum, -Zahid

There are two faces to it…some believe and some do not. Everyone has his own story. But I feel that the dreams are somewhat a part of our life and they do convey a message. Like I had a dream of going on jogging and I was continuously jogging ….and the dream broke. And when I had the dream analysis I found that it meant my motivation was becoming higher and when I put it in my life…its true. I am feeling motivated with the things around i.e. to be more hard-working and achieve something.

A few weeks ago I had a dream (a nightmare actually). Immediately after I woke up I checked some stuff and found that my nightmare had been true (coincidence?
). Thank God I had discovered something in time to "nip it in the bud" or so to speak. Alhamdulillah.Of course there's a scientific explanation behind it (and religious one). In a hadith it says true dreams are 1/40th of prophethood and are quite common. The scientific explanation probably has something to do with intuition or subconciously picking up on signs.

Dreams are awesome. I love it when I have vivid istikhara ones.
I can't wait until I buy Imam Anwar Al Awlaki's new lecture set about dreams.
