1. Unhealthy obsession with "bidah." Only care about being "compliant" with arbitrary (and arbitrarily rigid) interpretation of Islam. Self contradicting concepts.
2. Claim to follow Quran and Sunnah and not madhabs but really follow their own scholars
3. Claim to follow first three generations of Muslims but are only copycats and parrots, show no flexibility or understanding like the first three generations of Muslims.
4. All legality - no spirituality. No depth of understanding.
5. Same problem as with non-Salafi fundamentalist interpretations of Islam - take a few things from Quran and Hadith and go crazy with them, absolutize them, take them out of context, etc.
6. Salafism is the McDonalds of Islam, lots of fluff - little substance
SALAFISM IS BIZZARO ISLAM
And by that I mean the following:
"The concept of "Bizarro" has been ingrained in popular culture where it has come to mean a
weirdly mutilated version of anything, not confined to characters in DC Comics publications[1] and as such, so has the concept of Bizarro World."
