I found some thing amazing
ok so basically where i live there is a river and a ravine just behind our backyard, every saturday i do a bit of exploring in the area with my metal detector. Today just like any day i was searching for random stuff with my metal detector and i found a 200 year old antique lamp buried deep beside the river. I went to a antique dealer and they said that it is a rare victorian style lamp and could be worth as much as $1000 now. The problem is the top part of it seems to be broken, but it still could be worth a lot
The antique dealer said that the lamp must have been brought first british settlers who moved to this part of Ontario in the early 1800's
The lamp looks something similar to this:

I can't see the picture, but that's cool.
We went down to the valley/ravine behind my house too where there's a creek. There was a beaver dam, but nothing else. Also, there was some garbage and it looked like a campsite, but that's funny 'cause it's way off the beaten track.
I didn't find anything amazing, but it was a superfun hike.  I got really dirty from slipping down some steep slopes (rain had made everything all muddy).
