OK, I don't know which word to use instead of "psychic" so if anyone has a better alternative, please do share. I've tried searching for a smiliar thread as I rmbr us having one pre-cash..

Now and again, I've had these really weird moments where I say something and it's totally true or about to happen and I had no way to know it had happened/was gonna happen.. I gotta poo memory so lemme jus use last nights example.. Turkey was playing Croatia in the Euro 2008.. Before anyone scored I predicted Croatia would score in the 28th minute of extra time and then Turkey would score before winning the match on penalties..

I think Croatia actually scored in the 29th minute, but come on, if that isn't weird, what is, considering I could have predicted the goals to be in any of the other 120 mins of the match?!

Another example I just rmbrd - when I was new at my job, I was talking to a student for the first time and he was tellin me about his family. He started tellin me about his brother and when I asked him what his brothers name was (I love talking about/finding out new names) I quickly blurted out "McKenzie" and then stopped myself out of embarassment coz McKenzie had nothing whatsoever to do with the conversation and I randomly said it knowing it wasn't even a name, but a surname.

Can you imajin my surprise when he said: "Yeah, how did you know his surname is McKenzie? Do you know him?"

(They have different fathers so their surnames are different so I didn't know his surname anyway and I didn't even know he had a brother so this couldn't have been a piece of sub-conscious memory)

I can't think of other examples but just wanted to hear any other weird predictions/moments you guys have had

Yeah I was talking to another Islamican once about the US health industry and said "Okay lets say for example your insurance coverage is provided by Aetna..."

They were pretty surprised and said "how did you know my provider was Aetna???"

I said I didn't, I was just using the name as an example.

Incidents like these are a cross between coincidence and deja-vu.

I jus rmbrd another one.. this happened a few months ago.

My family were comin home from an out-of-town dinner and were really tired as we got home. Usually when we get home as a family I go straight upto my room but as we got out of the car I suddenly felt like there was something wrong in my kitchen and I had to get there straight away. Looking back I didn't really know what was wrong but it was a feeling of danger (i.e. fire etc) but again, I didn't have or give myself enough time to wonder what it could be.

I didn't say anything but literally shoved my Dad out the way as he was standing in the hallway after opening the door.

We shut all our rooms' doors when we go out so the kitchen door was shut and as I turned the door handle and opened it it was pitch dark but as I focussed my eyesight towards the window where I heard a bang I could see two burglers had broken the window and trying to get in! I shouted and they ran away before my family got to me.

I know if I didn't barge past my Dad that extra few moments would have given the burglers the time to be standing next to the kitchen knives and as the kitchen window would have been too high to jump out of for both of them in one go they might have either grabbed the knives to scare/use against me or pushed past me and then faced my family in the hallway if they tried making a get-away through the front. But in the end, I got there just in time.

Oh and while this was all happening I could hear my Dad telling me off for pushing past me but now he calls me Detective Annie coz I was helping the police and it was fun and it reminded me of why I almost went into Forensics.

You're probably referring to the Jinn story posted here.

That was a case of me experiencing a certain incredible event and then thinking it didn't really happen and that I must have been hallucinating. Afterwards, a question from my mom made me believe it really did happen.

Aetna is in the States, and I don't think it has operations in Canada.

Down in the states, the industry association of health insurance companies AHIP claims it has 1,200 members - i.e 1,200 health insurance companies.

A couple of years back I was at college, and I had a free period. Normally I stayed in for the free period and studied, but that day i felt something was reall really wrong and just needed to get home, and it was one of those feelings you can't ignore. As I got near home I saw an ambulance outside my dads business (bear in mind there could have been any number of customers the ambulance was there for, or it could have even been there for one of the neighbours) but I felt like the ambulance was there for my mum, and that my mum was in trouble. I ran home to find that my mum was in the ambulance and it was a good thing I went home, becuase otherwise there would have been no one to go in the ambulance with her and support her.

Another time, I was staying at my grans and I had a dream that I had an argument with my mum. When I woke up I told my gran about it and we laughed about it a little. I then decided to phone my mum and we had a really bad argument over the phone

I also knew that my brother was was going to be a boy before he was born! (my mum wanted to keep the sex of the baby secret, but I had a dream that I was going to have a baby brother and I just knew it wouldn't be a girl!)

Another dream I had the other day was super weird! It had a friend of mine in it who I only talk to on msn. Anyway his mother passed away a little while ago and I dreamt that he had a new step-mum and a sister. Lol, it was real weird when I told him about my dream for him to say "how did you know about my sister and step-mum, i swear we've never spoken about them"

Anyway, those are just a few that I can remember off the top of my head!

I was askin so I could work out the chances of you using that company as an example.. Coming back to my story, I don't know anyone called McKenzie (altho I do have an Italian-English friend who has this surname) so for me to blurt out this name so randomly was what freaked me out the most..

It happens at least once a day. I don't even pay attention to it when it happens anymore. Either it's something directly exactly how I "saw" it or it's an interpretation of something. I don't care.
