thats another reason i try to avoid naps. i usually wake up more tired too.

Try napping in approx. 90 minute cycles or multiples thereof [1.5 hrs, 3 hrs, 4.5 hrs, etc] When you sleep, you go through cycles, each one that consists of a few stages of non-REM sleep followed by about three stages of REM sleep. If you are awakened before the completion of any one cycle, you'll feel tired and groggy.

I hate naps. I always feel groggy after them (if it's more than 20 mins), and the rest of the day is all blergh.
