Re: Revival of The Noble Muttawa League
so uhh, how come Shaykh Jamal al-din al-roll gets a nice uppity title for his name and jaysh's name is lower case? the Noble Muttawa League strives for equality for all, akhi.
ya3ni just wondering..

Part of being Muttawa is to correct each other's mistake nicely. Indeed it is Imam Jaysh. Thank you.

I don't think this will be the case. The J-Trinity is something which is mystical and eternal. It is like the US, China and Russia joining other organisations - it doesn't take anything away from the fact that they are still the big dogs on the block, no matter what other affiliations they have.
Also, this is our chance to return something to the community, much like JP Morgan might sit on their vaults of billions, but once in a while decide to sponsor a local sporting event or children's charity.
Actually that gives me an idea. If jinnzaman will stop engaging in "real life" and come back to the cyberworld properly and joins the Mutawwa League we could use the Mutawwa League for endorsing our J-Trinity trademark, such as letter headed paper, and logo carrying the image "The Muttawa League in association with the J-Trinity".

I suggest a multi-pronged campaign. First, and this could potentially be very useful to the Mutawwa League, is to target the teenybopper demographic. You do this by enticing them with things they like. They like music, TV and films. So you start off with Britney and the rest of those besharmi's and attract them to Sami Yusuf and Zain Bikha. Then you gently move them towards listening to beautiful Qari. With films and shows, you steer them towards shows which illustrate Muslims as positive role models.
The FPH crew are too difficult to get on side, until we increase in power, and there are many feminists in their midsts who despise what they call, the "male chauvinist", i.e. a normal Muslim man. However, there are good sisters amongst them, and we call them to our project, one by one, until we become more established and then we shall see who will come in throngs.
That is all, for now.

Some prudent points Shaykh Jamal al-din. As you are aware we are still in the very begining, so I had to start somewhere. These are points that should be taken into consideration, however strategic tactics can only be formulated after we have called our first Shoora. And that will take some time.
Jzak Allahu khair.

If the sisters join, they will be given positions of Mutawwas. Do you wish to bring justice and haya, iman and islam back to Islamica? If you do, please sign here, and we can begin your induction.

I don't think we can call the Sisters who join 'Muttawas'. It just sounds... funny. It makes me imagine us with beards and sticks and short thobes.
Whats the female version of it?

Re: Revival of The Noble Muttawa League
I, Jaysh of the third Reich, do hereby pledge loyalty to the Noble Muttawa League and declare myself fuhrer of said organization. If not fuhrer, then assistant secretary to the fuhrer.

Mutawwa Babe Squad.
No, that's too Eurocentric.
How about Mutawwa Muslimahs? And for short we shall call you M&Ms.

Re: Revival of The Noble Muttawa League
Sidi Rida, consider yourself part of Muttawa League. However agreement upon an organized modus operandi will take some time insha Allah. Meanwhile we shall all continue 'amr bil ma'ruf and nah 'an al munkar.
Also I posted a link earlier in the thread called 'Enjoining the Right and Forbidding the Wrong'. If you have time please do go through it.
Sister raeesa as Shaykh Jamal said, if you want to join just make your intentions clear. We haven't assigned any titles yet, Shaykh Jamal is a superdelegate, hence by default he's a shaykh. Imam Jaysh was known as Imam Jaysh before he joined us.
Bluey: How about 'mullani" ?
