My brother is close to a homophobe yet he gets his eyebrows done. 
This last wax, dear lord the girl messed up his brows!! I have a thing for brows, it's the first thing I notice about people. Brows can either make you or break you- honest truth. So before going to the gym, I stopped by my brothers place of work. When he came through the door, Wallahi, I immediately was like, "UUUUUUUUGHHHH!!!!!! HOLY **** TARIK, WHAT DID YOU DO TO YOUR BROWS?!?! OH MY GOD!!! AAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH AHAHAHAHAHA" *points and continues to laugh* I even took a picture of them. They were butchered. I don't understand how the girl could have messed them up soo royally- shortened too much and way too severe of an arch.

wow, orange tans??? i dont think i've seen that yet 
first the eyebrows and now the fake tans...i assume they go to the tanning salon for those

anyways i checked out islamqa.com and they have a fatwa on the issue.
Islam Question and Answer - Plucking and dyeing the eyebrows
Basically stating that you can remove the unibrow, men and women.
You can color your eyebrows.
You cannot pluck them, men and woman, unless you cannot see properly or something because they have grown to long...
As far as trimming i'm still not sure, i dont think they addressed it in this fatwa.
Thats what i got from it anyways.

Not really. You don't get orange tans from going to tanning salons. The guys [and lots of women] who have orange skin have it because of cheap tanning creams.

I was born fairly light skinned but then I got a natural tan from being out in the Californa sun so much during my childhood.
