Yeah, some people just have that habit. "Honey" "sweety" etc. It wasn't like he was trying to hit on me. I think he just felt sorry for me. Haha.

And the funny thing is, the idiot that blocked me in was in the same store as I was, the mother effer saw me waiting outside my car for him to come and move so I can get out
While I was waiting on him to come and move, this man saw me waiting and asked "They got you blocked in, baby?" And I nodded my head. Then he started to go into the stores to see whose Cadillac it was.

remember when we stopped at the gas station to ask for directions to get to that one place and that lady was telling you how to get there and some man goes "BABY GIRL"

Re: Really nice strangers
Nice stories.
Yeah, I like nice strangers too, who doesn't?
Once this Filipino Non-Muslim lady came up to me at the gym and told me she thought I was very nice, and if she ever had a daughter, she would want her to look exactly like me. She told me she'd see me coming up to the gym and she thought she'd tell me, but she never got around to it, so that day she finally did.

Re: Really nice strangers
I went to england last thanksgiving break and ended up seated between two guys. I wanted to move to another seat next to a lady but I felt embarrassed asking when I was within earshot of the two men. It ended up not being so bad actually. The guy on my right was a young Danish guy (which made me scared b/c of all the bad things I hear about Islamophobia) coming back from a business trip. The one on my left was an elderly Scottish man (whose wife and daughter were across the aisle) and they had been to the US for their son's wedding.
I am glad I stayed seated there because neither of them were creepy and they made interesting conversation (mostly with each other but I liked listening). Also when the plane was taking off I was secretly freaking out and the elderly man was so sweet, he tried to make me feel better . Later when I was waiting for my flight from London to Manchester the elderly couple and their daughter were there so we talked for a while. They were so sweet!

Re: Really nice strangers
my mom broke her glasses. and her eye sight is weakening
and my dad has been telling her to get her eyes checked for months now, but she always put it off because she was afraid it would cost too much and didn't want to deal with the hassle. but yesterday, she went to walmart and was just standing at the eye place holding her broken glasses when one of the workers went up to her and saw the glasses. he took it, went to the back, came back a few minutes later with her glasses fixed. when she asked him how much, he shook his head and told her not to worry about it

Re: Really nice strangers
Today i decided to explore some small alleyways near where i live, find out a few shortcuts. I stumbled on a small farm with horses and thought "great". Then saw some geese and thought, "this is turning into a really cool adventure" until one of them started hissing at me and started chasing me.
Oh yeah, met a really nice stranger today.
