Since I'm having my reception in the Fall, I'll concentrate my attention on reception party stuff n stuff.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE the idea of having a Candy Buffet. I'm doing one and it has already become my favorite part of the reception:
Since it'll be outdoors, I think giving out fans is great, not to mention considerate. Just today I saw that Pier 1 is selling cute ones for only a buckeroo a piece. Can't beat that.
It's a bit smaller than this but has a very similar design:
They have them as personalized wedding cakes but it'd be awesome to have them as place cards if you're doing assigned seating [which I'm not but I thought it was cute anyway]:
This is really cute! I might even do this for a few of my tables.
Delicate and airy, this centerpiece composed of single blossoms lets you make the most of a limited group of flowers. Showcase each one -- we used dahlias and garden roses -- in clear glass vessels, such as bud vases, jars, or even drinking glasses. To accentuate the arrangement, set the flowers on a runner whose hue contrasts with the color of the tablecloth.
Such a great idea for wedding favors.
Sugar Cookie Favor Cakes...
I wish I could have a wedding party every year.
