This set up for veggies is becoming quite a trend. I think it's pretty wicked looking but nothing that I would do.

Not a fan of the dress or of the cake, but DAMN is this a GORGEOUS color palette. So delicate and fresh:


I absolutely love the idea of potted plants as centerpieces/placecard holders:






This is a too too cute color combo and set up. My reception will be outside and I also will be giving wooden fans to each of my female guests:



I thought this was a dumb cute idea, especially for us couples who met via the internet. Instead of ordering [not my colors], I'll be making the little square notes and attached them to my organza favor bags:

Ooo Ooo, I finally found it online. Top picture of the juices- that's how I'm doing mine! That idea/picture is featured in a wedding book of Martha Stewart. A book i highly recommend.

I never thought of a green, white and GRAY wedding palette. I love the vintage, but surprisingly modern, look. It'd be perfect for a Sunday Afternoon wedding. [It reminds me of the Stepford wives ]

I'm usually not a big fan of pink for weddings but this was well done-- also that fortune thingy, I saw how they used that as the menu. It was so cool. If I had more time [and nicer handwriting ] before my reception, I'd do it.

I hate the look but I love the concept of everyone sitting together...but on the other hand, I think the noise level may be a bit too much.

A Tuscan affair- so simply elegant



Ahahahaha how awesome. Another Tuscan inspired affair- table names and the name placecard fruits- great idea. Could be set up a bit nicer though.

Ugh, have you ever...

Anyway..I now officially have less than ONE month before my reception. I'm SO excited!

And yet my dress isn't made, I don't have my favors together, I don't have any deposits down, I changed my dessert/cake ordeal yet AGAIN, my wreaths aren't made...ugh.

But this is all stuff for the last month anyway. So I'm not too worried...

i cant blv i just found out this thread existed..... i saved so many pictures, mashallah you all have great taste

i went to a baby shower (for three girls!) this past weekend and i was responsible for the favors... this is what i chose to use and everyone loved them



i put Bliss chocolate pieces in it

I also made sugar cookies in the shape of a baby bottle, with white frosting and pink and baby blue sprinkles on it.... but i dont have a pic of that , inshallah ill try to see if anyone took a pic of it

Ooooo!!! I think I'm going to do this: To keep their guests entertained during the receiving line, the couple hung two parallel ropes along the path of the trees and decorated them with individual images from Caitlin’s and Scott's lives.

Awwwwwww: "My mom and I bought old mason jars and requested that wedding guests bring their wedding photos to display in the jars," Jessica explains. The jars framing the different photos through the years added to the wedding's retro appeal.

Aww: Vivian and Johnny made their own apple butter, which was packaged in jars wrapped with red plaid fabric and raffia for each guest to take home. They also made a donation to The American Cancer Society in honor of Vivian's father and Johnny's grandfather.
