Try to at least get your money back by cancelling the flight so that you can use it towards another flight in the future. This happened to me this weekend as I was supposed to go to Canada but my flight was cancelled twice ... stupid airline won't give me my money back but they're giving me the money I spent to use towards another flight...might work for you...good luck!
