September??? But the Bible stories mention shepards watching their flocks, and baby animals and so forth, that would make it spring, probably April (that's what we learned in Seminary class anyway). Either way Dec. 25 is not the right day. Christians originally celebrated it in Spring, but becuase the pagan Romans kept trying to kill them, they changed it to Dec. 25 so that they could celebrate it more easily (since pagans had their own holiday on that date)
