Do you play video games in class?

Man, last year I almost got caught by my professor playing Madden 05 on my laptop.

Never got caught though. There was a guy reading a newspaper in class and the Professor scolded him in front of 200 people. Then he did it again and he got scolded again. Happened one more time after though. It's not a video game, but that was really funny.

I have a bunch of old school games on my graphing calculator. I TA'd a class where the professor required the TA's to attend the lectures, I used to play the whole period. Since half her class was working out the math as a group, I never got got.

I used to play Minesweeper and Snake in classes where we were supposed to work on Linux shells. SuSE/RedHat Linux Snake > any other Snake.

I used to write games on my TI-83 during class, but never really play them.

I'd play Unreal Tournament with a bunch of people over the LAN in my computer class since we'd finish way early every day. That was pretty sweet.

A few weeks in my history class I saw a guy playing Diablo 2. I was pretty envious, because Diablo 2 is freaking awesome and I am fully cised for Diablo 3.

We used to play Unreal Tournament (and Counter Strike) over LAN in our computer class too. It was great fun.

Max Payne 2 was also quite popular at my school.

I used to play tetris on my TI-83 in French. A friend of mine even had that connecting cable, so we'd play against each other. Fun times.

yeah when i was in school, and particularly when we were in the Cisco lab, we used to do all sorts of stuff on our computers. Playing games, working in Photoshop, IMs, etc. The profs knew but they didn't care - what really mattered was the marks you got on the projects, tests and exams. In between all that you could be a complete airhead and no one would say a word.

i dont really have lectures anymore, but when i did have lectures i didnt play videogames in them. When i felt like playing games instead of learning i just skipped class and played games

yeah i play tetris all the time. especially during a three hour lecture.. i record the lecture on my laptop and play games.

in high school we would have tetris tourneys, my one teacher didnt really care.. but this other one did. so he started using that programs where the teachers computer can see all the students screens from their computer. so he would sit at his desk and just send out work and notes from there to our computers and if we had a question we had to go back to him.. he didnt really do much teaching.
