Being a loner is much better than being in a horrible group of friends or a nasty marriage innit

Opposite gender friendships are detrimental to your marriage but you shouldn't keep these friendships before marriage anyway.

Only have that contact which is necessary.

That's a good question but can only be productively discussed with someone who believes 'real world' contact should be that which is necessary only.

I would say friendly contact through private channels such as MSN is definitely off limits.

webcamming is always halal.

Moving on, just adding to my previous post, yes, I would expect him to do the same [if I had to stop talking to my boy friends (hahaha )] to his female friends. No double standards.

Also, I have like...2 boy-friends (hahah )so it wouldnt be all that difficult for me to ditch 'em

hmm I think it depends on your relationship.

certainly late night phone conversations would be out and discussing details of your relationship with your spouse would be a no-no.

I generally avoid close relationships with women because of the problems that can happen. However, the answer to the question is probably no. I wouldnt cut off all contact but the nature of the relationship would change.
