Re: Your Favorite Ethnic Foods
arab: stuffed grape leaves (i like the less acidic more tomato-ey warm ones)
american, east coast: STEAMED CRABS COVERED IN OLD BAY SEASONING (it's a current craving; if i drive past a crab shack tomorrow on the way to the bay, i am sooooooo eating there)
bangladeshi: giant shrimp (you can find them so big each one weighs a pound or so) pan fried with curry powder
french: baguette with brie
latin: everything
thai: those squarish noodles in a sweet sauce
arab: kenafah...not too cheesy
italian: gnocchi
um, i should stop.

Of course its ethnic,. Ethnic means a group of people related or linked in some way, by Nationality or region..or skin colour. I think Brits fall into that somehow.
I didn't want to overkill the post with pure British goodness

Hodja picked up a bunch of grapes, cut it up into pieces and gave each child a piece.
"You have so much, but you gave us so little," the children complained.
"There is no difference whether you have a basketful or a small piece. They all taste the same," Hodja remarked.
