I find it hard to believe that you met someone who had AIDS and didnt feel any sympathy, but anyway most HIV positive people and people with AIDS in the world are heterosexuals

I find it hard that you could have sympathy for a PJ.
I have NO sympathy for any male of female who contracts the AIDs virus through promiscuity - be it homosexual or hetrosexual.
The only sympathy I have are for the innocent victimes: the children and the women who acquired through unfaithful husbands.
As for the others, the more they suffer, the better. Good lesson in life. The world is over populated as is.

Anyway, its really the suffering that elicits compassion. It doesnt matter who it is, when you see someone dying a painful death from a disease, you feel sorry for them. But thats really a matter of personal values and also personal opinions.

depleted uranium actually doesnt cause negative health effects, or rather it hasnt been demonstrated to cause them to a clinically significant level at the quantities used in ammunition in any studies. Of course having a depleted uranium shell or round hit your car or hit you in the chest would

I was watching ER or Scrubs once and this guy was deliberately trying to get AIDs cos his boyfriend had AIDs I guess those types deserve to suffer but then little African kids don't.

If a US soldier drank a bunch of Agent Orange in front of you and started to die from it, you would probably feel bad for him no matter how much you dislike what he stands for. It is just the natural human reaction. Military people have to be conditioned to turn it off, the rest of us havent been conditioned in that way. Of course, unless you've actually watched someone that you hate die in that way, its just speculation on my part and yours. But I dont know, you seem like a nice person and not a sociopath or antisocial
