 I'm so tired, I've been tired for hours. WHY won't my brain turn off and let me sleep? There isn't anything I can do about anything, especially not at 2am. I just want to sleep

I'm on call in the hospital.  I want to sleep, but I can never sleep well when I'm doing nights. I'm always afraid I'll get paged, so I sleep really lightly... until I do actually get paged. *blah*

omg i dunno how you all stay up. i used to be able to do that. im saying that like im really old now or something..but man.. i totally need and value my sleep. nothing keeps me from my sleep anymore. also i study best when im well rested. but i write the most amazing papers when im sleep deprived. im not sure why. i also produce really amazing poems or other works of writing then. it's a bit weird.
