Awesome videos. When I was younger, I wanted to be a storm chaser. It's still a career option at the moment.

A tornado's top speed is 65 mph. All cars except those ridiculously small SMART cars can go above 80 mph. Therefore, if you have a car, you can outrun the tornado.

Not if the road doesn't lead away from it. Plus, cars get stuck, break down, blow tires etc. It's still pretty dangerous.

In which case, you run as fast as you can away from the tornado. Or hitchhike.
