also, another interesting thing you will notice as time goes on, failing an exam actually does not kill you. and the rush you get from realizing this--after it has all come crashing down and you DIDN'T get that miracle B you were hoping for--is quite a high of its own kind. to have the tidal wave of pressure come crashing down and then, remarkably, insanely, find yourself still somehow standing and alive at the end--albiet with a bad grade or two, but hey--is a feeling of complete ALIVENESS.
the pancakes will taste mighty good that afternoon, i assure you.
also, you do get that miracle B sometimes, which is a nice surprise, too.
the point is, there are many ways to fail. but are you really failing WELL??? mm.
ponder this as you try to get out of that mid-term. and good luck my failing friend.

d) I won't fail, i will skip classes and blah...and studyyyyyyyyy my hardest inshaAllah

Re: Miserable people
It's easy to blame people for their self-pity and complaints when you don't know or don't even want to know what they are actually undergoing. But this is the truth of this world. You have to suffer in silence. Nobody wants to hear complaints. Nobody wants the discomfort of even hearing about your sufferings while you have to not only hear but actually endure them. It is horrible to face the fact that people do not even believe what you say about the great incapacitating mental illness that you have been suffering from for two decades. But as I said, the happy majority thinks that the sufferer has to suffer in silence and mustn't give other people any discomfort, and that it is absolutely right for those other people to moralize and reprimand you about your sadness when they do not even know what you are suffering.

There is an old Lakota proverb that still means the same today - Don't judge any man until you have walked two moons in his moccasins.
