Re: The Art of Cooking
Me and my sis are making my mom a birthday dinner on Monday and we had this idea to make stuffed spinach...
The plan is to take fresh spinach leaves, blanch them and then stuff them with fetta cheese and roll them.
Kinda like grape leaves... I donno what else we should stuff them with though. Any ideas?

Re: The Art of Cooking
I need some recipes that use lots of veggies and actually retain their nutritional value (not like most recipes that cook the veggies to a mushy pulp.)
Are stuffed grape leaves (i.e. dolma) among the things counted as healthy and nutritional?

I also think I'm going to look into buying a healthy cooking type of recipe book or something or using the internet to compile my own. I have a desi food recipe book and a bunch of recipe cards for American and Italian cooking but I don't think any of those types of recipes are good in large quantities.

Re: The Art of Cooking
I made potato and pea curry this evening . I used that table guide that was in the link you gave me Asvi and left the skins on the potatoes and didn't cook the veggies for too long. Next week I'm going to go on a super healthy food shopping spree inshallah. I cant wait!
