Re: The Art of Cooking
I wrapped the qeema in Pillsbury crescent rolls and now I'm using them to fatten up the husband.

Re: The Art of Cooking
oooh sally that looks amazing
I made qeema for lunch yesterday and for breakfast this morning I made the qeema into little pocket things using Pillsbury crescents. Just put it in, fold and bake for 7 or 8 minutes

Re: The Art of Cooking
I made chicken today

I marinated the chicken, green peppers and corn with garlic, honey, lemon and salt for 3 hours. then when i put it in the pan i also threw in peppercorn, cloves, cardamom seeds, cumin, tumeric, cayenne pepper, more salt, paprika, more lemon juice and juice from canned tomatoes and cooked it until it was almost done. Then I threw in chopped coriander, 2 tsp of prego traditional spaghetti sauce and the canned tomatoes and cooked it for like 15 minutes on medium-low, then simmered it on low for 10 minutes.

Re: The Art of Cooking
right when i read the word "pina coladas" sean kingston's "take you there" came to my head.
this thread makes my mouth water. and sally that sounds liek one heck of an awesome food-stuffed weekend! ur family's gonna love the open omelette buffet, i remember doing that for my siblings awhile back, they loved it! also with pancakes, you can have like different mix-ins like chocolate chips, banana slices and blueberries, strawberries, cinnamon, etc. ready to mix-in to the pancake batter while being made, according to the breakfastee, of course.
good luck!
