DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Grease and flour 2 (9 inch) pans. In the top of a double boiler, heat unsweetened chocolate, stirring occasionally, until chocolate is melted and smooth. Remove from heat and allow to cool to lukewarm.
In a large bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and sugar. Cut in margarine until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Blend in sour milk and melted unsweetened chocolate. Divide batter into prepared pans.
Bake in the preheated oven for 15 to 20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean. Allow to cool. Sprinkle cakes with orange liqueur.
Reserve 8 to 10 strawberries and slice the rest. Place one cake on a serving plate, top with half of the sliced strawberries and half of whipped topping. Cover with second layer, top with remaining strawberries and whipped topping. Garnish with whole strawberries. In the top of a double boiler, heat semisweet chocolate, stirring occasionally, until chocolate is melted and smooth. Drizzle over the strawberries.

funny you should mention that. I'm cooking the brisket tonight. I found this recipe:
Beef Brisket on Buns
* 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
* 1/2 teaspoon ground mustard
* 1 (5 pound) fresh beef brisket
* 2 cups water
* 1 cup ketchup
* 1/2 cup Worcestershire sauce
* 2 tablespoons brown sugar
* 2 teaspoons liquid smoke (optional)
* 1 teaspoon chili powder
* 18 sandwich buns, split (optional)
DIRECTIONS
1. Combine the ginger and mustard; rub over brisket. Place on a rack in a shallow roasting pan. Bake, uncovered, at 325 degrees F for 2 hours.
2. Let stand for 20 minutes. Thinly slice meat across the grain. Place in a foil-lined 13-in. x 9-in. x 2-in. baking dish. In a bowl, combine the water, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, Liquid Smoke if desired and chili powder; pour over meat. Cover tightly with foil; bake 3 hours longer or until tender. Serve on buns if desired.
This is a fresh beef brisket, not corned beef. The meat comes from the first cut of the brisket.

Re: The Art of Cooking
Also done in bihari households, although we're better known for our 'bihari kebabs'.

they're pretty good. my mom, in a fit of craziness, decided she wanted to make all the kababs herself for a party this past saturday at our house that fed at least 100 people. she was making a tray a day for like, a week. it was madness.

no need playa. just add black olives, pickled jalapeños, vinegared onions, black pepper, mayo, vinegar and olive oil and you've created a masterpiece of epic proportion that transcends cultural bounds

that's nice, you can be a real chef .
oh and to desi-fy tuna: fry onions in oil til brown, add tomatoes and green chili pepper [you can add bell peppers here]. red chili powder, tumeric, and salt, dried cilantro [you know, dhania]. then the tuna, cook it 'til it's dark brown. then garam masala. then you're set, enjoy .
