i made pasta with mushrooms, chicken, the usual spices Plus oregano...with white sauce and then put it in the overn for twenty minutes  deliciousss.

i have a problem. i can rarely eat out without thinking to myself, "i so could have made this myself." i feel like an idiot paying for someone else to make something that i could probably make...better (usually). the only exception to that rule in recent history was a couple weeks ago, and that cost me $30, even after splitting the whole meal with a friend.  (no regrets; it was delicious and the steak was perfectly medium). i'd like to just stop eating out altogether, but then people always want to, i can't just sit there w/o ordering, etc.
i'm stuck.

ewwwwwwwwwww. jk. that's because they rock. jk again. i know i'm mom-like, but i don't cook with desi food principles. like, not even remotely. when i do cook desi food, i have to try really hard to take the american "accent" off of it.
