Firstly, you dont own this thread. I can come here and talk about anything I'd like...k?
Second...Could you show me where I said I'd never learn to cook?
Go back and re-read my posts. I expressed my sentiments in relation to cooking...like how i lack the motivation and interest to cook..but i never said i'd *never* learn to cook. Im trying to memorize names of masalas and picking bits of info here and there by frequently visiting this thread...which apparently you didn't notice, I suppose.

Re: The Art of Cooking
i made the yummiest dinner ever tonight
1 chicken breast, cut into 4 pieces short ways
coat with ranch dressing, and cover with bread crumbs
2 russet potatoes and 1 bell pepper, cut into pieces... coat with olive oil, salt, pepper, crushed red pepper to taste, and any other seasoning you'd like.
bake all of the above on a cookie sheet at 400 degrees for about half hour or so. serve with sour cream and maybe some rice if you want.
the chicken was sooooooo yummy and juicy

Today I made dahi papri
just add chopped onion, cilantro, sev, black chickpeas, salt, sprinkle of red chili powder, and some watered down yogurt.

That looks awesome. Moonstar, did you make the papars yourself? If so, do you have a recipe?

i think its a crunchy dough that's been fried, if that makes any sense. You can use flour tortillas as papars, all you have to do is fry them in oil.
according to wikipedia:
Papri chaat
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
(Redirected from Papri Chaat)
Jump to: navigation, search
Papri ChaatPapri Chaat or Paapri Chaat is a north Indian fast food. Chaat, an Indic word which literally means lick, is used to describe a range of snacks and fast food dishes; papri refers to crispy fried dough wafers made from refined white flour and oil. In Papri Chaat, the papris are served with boiled potatoes, boiled chick peas, chilis, yoghurt and tamarind chutney and topped with chaat masala and 'sev'.
The popular dish is often eaten from travelling food vendor stalls.
--- yay...i was almost correct.
