yea, I used to wait for my husband to get home and then eat with him. but now that I'm pregnant, I can't always wait that long 'cause I get so hungry so I stuff my face before he gets home. but I'll still sit with him when he eats. I usually have my 'after dinner' snack then. hehe. :fatty:

This is actual the exact picture I saw in the entertaining book at work today:

Now just imagine that the top strawberries are chocolate coated. Cute or an eyesore?

to be honest, shadha, i personally don't find the appeal in chocolate covered strawberries. i mean yes it's chocolate, but usually it's hardened and you just don't taste it as much as if it was liquid. i understand dipping strawberries in chocolate and eating them immediately, or doing the same with whipped cream. but i dont think chocolate covered strawberries look any prettier than "plain" strawberries; i think the red looks good all by itself.

(this is all just preference, obviously)

i like experimenting on my tastebud first so a) to ensure rest of the ppl are safe b) i'll have enough energy to make more deliciosu food. usually i end up tasting half of the food bf i place it on the dinning table.

jk. also i was thinking of, lets say the couples ar working full time and stuff. they dont have time to cook every single day. how about cookng about 8-10 different dishes each week over the weekend(together omg thats romantic and moving on...) and hence, thaw and warm them up as you need 'em.? woudl that work?

you can do that. I work full time and go home and cook then. usually on the weekends i'll make enough food that will be good for 2-3 days. Then make food again on weekdays. so i end up cooking 3 times a week.

It could work but I personally wouldn't want to spend my weekend cooking with him. Instead we decided we would take turns cooking through out the week. But like, if I'm making a lasagna, there's no reason why I can't put a second one together and toss it in the freeze for later use [on one of the days I'm suppose to cook lol].

i bought one last year, it works pretty well and its easy to clean. you dont have to haul out a huge blender every time you want to use one, which is nice. no complaints about it, but i didnt use it that much and when i moved into my apartment i never bothered to take it with me.

apparently my dad discovered it and is in love with it. he's always concocting a million different varieties of smoothies and makes a huge mess in the kitchen. i bet my stepmother wishes i never bought it haha.

Can it take the place of a FOOD PROCESSOR?

Since its just me and hubby..im thinking this is enough to take the place of a blender, coffee grinder, and food processor...i know it works well as a blender but if i want to make dahi barey (grinding mash ki dal + rice) i hope it works...when i tried that out with my blender it made a crack in the jar
