man, i hear you. we've been eating so much red meat and chicken in the past two weeks, that i stocked up on some tofu this weekend. i think i'm the only person who prefers well-prepared tofu to chicken

yesss, someone else who agrees! and no i didn't mean just in my family, though my mom does think tofu is disgusting even though she's never had it.
i just made thai curry with lightly fried tofu today. it was so freaking delicious that i had seconds

extra firm tofu is usually what i cook with, and if you've ever had paneer, it's sort of like that.

I called the yoplait company and they said that their kosher gelatin is beef derived.
I feel so bad for my friend, she is a vegeterian and she can't even eat yogurt!
why do they have to put meat in everything?
does anyone know of any gelatin-free flavored yogurts?

I just finished making Lamb biryani, and chappli kabobs. 
My abu jee loves lamb, and so I'm trying to make a lot of lamb dishes for him before he leaves.

tofu picks up the taste of whatever it's cooked with, kind of like chicken
and yeah it's kind hard to describe the taste exactly -- you should just try it!
