We stocked up on the husbands favourite ingrediant - chicken, but the freezer keeps freezing and defrosting them. Will the chicken be ok or shall i throw it out?
throw it out.

think of it this way. when poultry/meat is frozen, the bacteria don't multiply (and if they do it's negligible). when you defrost it, they like being warm and multiply.

so basically..throw it out and get your freezer fixed.

I hate okra. I can't get past the slime or it's weird texture.

One of the signs of whether okra has been cooked properly is that there is no slime left. It pretty much dies out with the heat, and the texture also changes.

But yes, raw okra is not so pretty.

i chopped a bunch of onions and froze them. then washed my hands with lemon. sigh...LEMON

my brother burnt something in the microwave and i HATEEEE hte burning smell. SO. i took a bowl, cut up a lemon and put it in it. then filled with water and microwaved it for a minute. the water smelt bad when i took it out so i threw it away and did it a couple more times. so in the end, the burn smell got sucked (or its in my head) or the warm lemon scent got around and the smell was gone.

AMEN.
