Was it chicken haleem? I bet it was really awesome . I really love spicy haleem, all the more reason to smother it in lemon and shred naan into it like soup .

Re: The Art of Cooking
Does anyone have an exceptionally good recipe for Chicken Caesar Salad?
I've been looking online and there are so many different versions of it. :S

Yesterday I made Bhindi ki sabzi (okra stir fry) and broccoli sabzi. I couldn't taste it so the salt and spice was too less, but otherwise it came out good.
bhindi: 1 teas zeera seeds fry in oil first, add 2 teas garlic ginger,1 onion, 1 big tomato, 2 minced green chili, 1/2 tsp turmeric, 1/2 tsp red chili powder, 1/2 tsp coriander powder, salt.

Re: The Art of Cooking
I'm having a iftaari next week with all girls and this is what I was thinking:
Iftaari - Chocolate fondue with pound cake, strawberries, and some other fruit. (and dates)
Spinach artichoke dip with some bread to dip.
then maghrib.
Dinner:
Beef Lasagna
Chicken Alfredo Fettuccine
Baked Asparagus
Garlic Bread
Dessert:
Banana Pudding
Tiramisu
I was going to cook desi food but I don't think the crowd is big on it. Anything I should add/omit?

Sounds yummy but if your making lasagna you dont really need the Fettuccine (their both reallly heavy...not to mention fattening) I would replace the fettuccine with some sort of potato dish.

Yeah, agreed Sugarberry... stuffed mushrooms or potatoes would be better. But maybe she has the chicken and beef pasta related options for people with varying preferences for meat dishes?

Re: The Art of Cooking
Fooz, are you making the tiramisu? Mr. PhDGirl loves it, so if you wouldn't mind posting a recipe, I might try it on Eid. I might add a green salad to dinner (you can just do one of the bagged ones if you are running out of time), but other than that, the menu looks good.

I thought I replied to this...weird. Anyway, I've tried this recipe once before for all guys. They loved it but...come on...guys eat anything. I'm going to tweak it just a little and try again. I'll let you know what the girls think and if DR approves, I'll post the recipe.
And yes, I'm trying to offer beef/chicken options.
And yes, I meant to add a salad out of a bag cause I don't eat lettuce during ramadan.
