I found a chocolate chip recipe from heaven...or so I think. Imagine actual cookies in Jannah Everybody fell in love.

Also, I made Red Lobster Biscuits and they turned out identical to the real thing Masha'Allah I was pleasantly surprised. Not that I lack cooking skills alhamdulillah but I wasn't expecting them to be so simple.

I'm trying these Eclairs out today Insha'Allah. Except I'm not a fan of custard filled Eclairs, which is generally the North American way of eating Eclairs. I grew up eating European style; they have fresh whipped cream in the midst. So that's what I'm going to do also.

For the love of cooking: Daring Bakers August Challenge - Éclairs

Check out the link. Has detailed directions and lots of pictures.

Cant help you with the desi food...but with american...

baked chicken
baked ziti
easy lasgana ( soo good)
Mac & cheese

I make a orzo dish thats soooo good
this is a similar recipie, I either leave out the sausage completely, or use shrimp.

( if your gonna leave out both...its also good that way too, also using orzo instead of bowtie....it feeds more people)

( and use diced italian style tomates)

Edit: if your gonna that last recipie ....pm and I'll write out exactly how I make it.

Can you post the recipe for the biscuits please?

Btw, thanks for the chocolate chip cookie recipe I can't wait to try it. I still have to get some of the ingredients.

No problem

Here you go...

Also, I didn't use parsley flakes or salt in the 'topping'. Parsley flakes I ran out of, also I don't really think the taste is that apparent in the actual biscuits at all.. And salt just seemed excessive, so left that out as well.

Ingredients:
2 ½ cups Bisquick baking mix

¾ cup cold whole milk

4 tablespoons cold butter (1/2 stick)

¼ teaspoon garlic powder

1 heaping cup grated cheddar cheese

Brush on Top:
2 tablespoons butter, melted

¼ teaspoon dried parsley flakes

½ teaspoon garlic powder

pinch salt

Directions:
1. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees.

2. Combine Bisquick with cold butter in a medium bowl using a pastry cutter or a large fork. You don't want to mix too thoroughly. There should be small chunks of butter in there that are about the size of peas. Add cheddar cheese, milk, and ¼ teaspoon garlic. Mix by hand until combined, but don't over mix.

3. Drop approximately ¼-cup portions of the dough onto an ungreased cookie sheet using an ice cream scoop.

4. Bake for 15 to 17 minutes or until the tops of the biscuits begin to turn light brown.

5. When you take the biscuits out of the oven, melt 2 tablespoons butter is a small bowl in your microwave. Stir in ½ teaspoon garlic powder and the dried parsley flakes. Use a brush to spread this garlic butter over the tops of all the biscuits. Use up all of the butter. Makes one dozen biscuits.

Asalamu Alaikum,

So they don't have Bisquik in Saudi apparently ( I checked the store that sells american stuff) What can I use as a substitute?

Also here's a quick video you can watch with the recipe being executed. I highly doubt any of you are going to need to watch it though, cuz y'all are way past that. But just in case:
