baby carrots are a good snack.

and if you're craving something sweet, try frozen grapes/cherries.

you should eat good fat (nuts etc)

because these low fat snacks out in the market have too many calories from sugar and nothing filling otherwise..no protein..worthless

rice cakes are worthless

slice up apples, eat them with ALL natural peanut butter

substitute with other fruits that you like

get plain yogurt...mix in cinnamon and berries (either fresh or the frozen kinds that are NOT preserved in sugar syrup..check ingredients) or mix in flax seed or even some flavored protein powder

grapes are water and sugar...not filling in the least

home made trail mix..RAW walnuts/almonds (means the bag says NOTHING but walnuts or almonds in the ingredients list) mix with dried cranberries...and very dark chocolate chips..which is an acquired taste so i dunno if youll like em..but its good. and a little flavor goes a long way so you dont need that many chips...because raw chocolate is still high in fat

Default Re: What are some healthy, low-fat meals/snacks?

anything high in fiber and protein goes a long way.

at some point all i'd eat in between two protein shake meals and one real meal was apples and raw almonds

it was nice, pure energy...and kept me satisfied. also, after a week..it demolished all my cravings. periodically ill go back to that if i get insane cravings

if you buy a juicer, you can take some raw fruits, make a juice....and mix in protein powder to balance out the sugar content. and still get something healthy/filling in your system

also everyday when you wake up you should drink a tall glass of water with freshly squeezed lemon juice..and some honey. and eat a few black seeds.

OK thank you so much everyone...didn't expect such rapid replies....

So far you have all listed snacks....can you mention some meals? i.e. what should I eat for lunch and dinner?

In terms of meat, i prefer grilled or steamed chicken with whatever side toppings when I'm eating healthy.
