So my co-worker lost 1.5 inches in her thighs with these bad boys FitFlops...and all she did was wear them around the house and while out doing errands. Since she does stock at work, she can't wear open-toed shoes-- while I can...so my nana and I might snag ourselves a pair. My husbster probably won't be a happy camper if it works.

Where are your recovery days at though? Are you one of those endomorphic jerks that can work out high intensity every day and still recover well? If so.....just know that I hate you. I'm inspired to kick it up a notch after reading your plan...good stuff.

I usually take wednesday off from both. Weekends I dont usually do muay thai, just some skipping and weights.

I am endomorphic so my recovery time is pretty fast. When I supplement with creatine I usually recover the same night.

It's a double edged sword, I either pack on muscle really easily if I'm on point, or I get fat if I dont watch out.

No creatine right now, just whey.

Alhamdulillah did the elliptical for 20 minutes today, another bazillion crunches and leg work. I was pressed for time because I took the car today instead of being dropped off or walking and the meter was 30 minutes max

Still looking for a bicycle without any luck...

Well then it's settled, I hate you!

I meant to say mesomorphic but you caught my drift anyways........that's a double edged sword I'd take any day. I have to work like a dog and rest like a sloth to add muscle to my frame. I'm an ectomorph so I usually need a little more recovery time.

Dude....I'm planning to start up muay thai in September....gonna shoot you some questions if you don't mind.

Sounds good. I highly recommend it, but if you're trying to stay jacked up, well all the calisthenics and padwork will have you burning calories at a really really fast rate.

Thanks bro....I'll hit you up after Ramadan insha'allah.

Yeah my old roommate was heavy into it and he was eating like a composter.......If I wanna keep adding weight I'll have to add a crapload of extra calories on training days. I've decided that my lethal tae kwon doe skills aren't going to cut it on the streets anymore lol.

Thats the beauty of muay thai. The techinques are very simple yet quite brutally effective. After a few months (when you break all the bad habits you have from tkd :P) you'll be pretty competent in MT. Good enough to bust some heads on the street for sure.

Three months!

Excellent!! My plans of forming a gang of maladjusted youths to wreak havoc on society is merely months from coming to fruition.

Ok, I'm intrigued. According to Sheikh Google, the reviews are mixed, although I think most of the disapointed people actually think you can get a workout from sandels I am looking for something to wear for walks over my lunch hour, so I may duck into Macy's this noon to see what's up.

But doesn't it feel good? My favorite workout related feeling (aside from the runner's high) is when you're too sore to move the day after a hard workout.
