I posted some time ago about getting ready for a fight and using ECA to help me cut the last 10-15lbs on short notice.
The good news was that it worked quite well with minor and quite acceptable sides, the bad news is that my opponent injured himself and I didn't get to fight.
So after training 5-6 days a week for 5 months for seemingly nought, I took a break.
Subsequently I got faaaat. To get back on the horse I've decided to push myself and lose 10lbs in the next 2 weeks.
Anyone care to join me?

I find when I'm running high intensity, the area of my lower shins (just to the outside of either of them) gets feeling really tight. Is this the beginning of shin splints? Or is it just conditioning muscles that haven't been used that much before? It doesn't hurt or anything, it just feels super tight.
