monday i salsa'd and some other stuff
tuesday kickboxing
wednesday step party
thursday (today) ran + yoga
AHHHHHHHHGAKJLDNHJDSJ yoga makes me GIDDY. i am NOT kidding. my teacher is SOOOOOOOOOOO zen. i totally wanna get into this yoga culture now. sighhhhhhhhhh.
tomorrow looks bland...might go rock climbing

my leg muscles are KILLING me and I have no idea why. I didn't do any exercise. Apart from going down 10 flights of stairs? ahaha, do i not walk at all? They're like solid now. I need to make this pain go away - HOW?

You are experiencing delayed onset muscle soreness - muscle soreness that ensues after performing physical activity that you are unaccustomed to.
Just take it easy for a few days, and it will go away on its own. Some people feel massages, light stretching, hot baths etc., tends to temporarily alleviate symptoms, so I guess you could give those things a try.

Back in the game, Alhamdulilah.
Yesterday, I restarted the couch to 5k program, which I attempted before and failed miserably at.  I suck at running. Today I did a little cardio and some weight training for the upper body.

Today we went for a 2 mile walk..it was pretty aggresive and uphill. My legs muscles have healed completely so the runnings gonna start tomorrow insha'Allah.
I'm looking into the local gyms ans stuff..some have some awesome programs.
I dropped most the fat i wanted to lose already..alhamdulillah.

Ninjas can kill anyone they want! Ninjas cut off heads ALL the time and don't even think twice about it. These guys are so crazy and awesome that they flip out ALL the time. I heard that there was this ninja who was eating at a diner. And when some dude dropped a spoon the ninja killed the whole town. My friend Mark said that he saw a ninja totally uppercut some kid just because the kid opened a window.

Oki, so NOW I know why my stomach hasn't been it's thinnest lately, why I've been getting sporadic sharp lower back/side pains, and the reason why for a couple of other things...my ovary is the size of an apple.
I've been put on birth control to shrink the size of the cyst. The doctor will give it three weeks to get smaller. So for the next three weeks I've been instructed that I can't exercise, have intercourse, or any other strenuous activity that may rupture the cyst.
So I'm thinking-- oki, I won't do any vigorous exercise...but what exercises can I do? I can't not do anything for three weeks, I'll gain mucho weight and that will further compound problems, at least mentally.
So any exercise ideas? Doctors of Islamica, can't I continue to walk on the treadmill?

You really should consult your doctor on specifically what kinds of exercises you can or cannot do.
Out of curiosity, do you experience any pain while walking/running?

I had a very similar issue recently. You need to take it easy. Maybe do no-impact things like ride a recumbent bike or the elliptical at a lower incline. I wouldn't do ANYTHING which causes you even the slightest twinge. A burst cyst is NO FUN. Honestly, you can't gain so much weight in three weeks anyway - just be careful with your diet.

haha im almost the same although i have maybe a few times.
but i bought a rowing machine that folds away and is quite compact. its good for a relaxed workout for your arms and lats (?) ...has anyone else got one?
and also, has anyone ever used the weight gainer stuff? is it ya'ni halal?
